Efoam's COVID-19 Coronavirus statement

Efoam covid-19 response

At present, all our operations continue as normal.

Efoam is open for business and has implemented new measures in response to COVID-19 to ensure we protect our service to all of our customers and employees. In accordance with Her Majesty’s Government definitions, Efoam have a critical role in maintaining and providing services and support to Health & Social organisations.

We are working closely with our suppliers and logistics partners during these difficult and testing times.

Efoam is following the advice issued by HM Government, and we act accordingly. Protection for all of our employees is of paramount importance and are continuously monitoring all precautions are being adhered to such as frequent reminders to wash hands and wearing the gloves & masks provided at all times. Thorough cleaning and disinfecting of our premises, including all machinery & equipment, is undertaken during normal circumstances to a high level of standard and has been increased furthermore under the present situation.

As foam is an essential component in many aspects for our healthcare providers and other medical settings, we have understandably received a significant increase in foam supply orders for this sector. Foam has an important role in protecting healthcare staff when wearing facemasks/faceguards along with foam mattresses for hospitals and temporary hospitals currently being set up, all of which are in huge demand given the present situation. While these orders are being given the highest priority, please be assured all orders are still being processed and dispatched as usual.

Our logistics partners have also implemented new measures in response to the Covid-19 outbreak. They are no longer asking customers to sign handheld units at the point of delivery and instead, delivery drivers will sign it on their behalf. There will still be a record of the consignee's name and an authorization message in the signature section of the handheld device.

Drivers will place the parcel at the entrances, knock doors and then wait a safe distance away for the consignee to retrieve parcels before signing on their behalf.

With this new process, you will still get your full track and trace functionality, giving you complete visibility of all your parcels.

This now forms our proof of delivery process for all deliveries until further notice.

Thank you NHS
